Romans 1:21

Because, having known God, they did not glorify Him as God, or give thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their senseless heart was darkened.

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the authority of Satan to God, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.'

Because that which is known of God is manifest among them, for God has shown it to them.

And just as they did not approve to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do the things which are not fitting;

Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and their back always be bowed down."

and that the Gentiles might glorify God on behalf of His mercy, as it is written: "For this reason I will confess to You among the Gentiles, and I will sing praise to Your name."

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your futile way of life handed down from your forefathers,

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;

saying with a loud voice, "Fear the Lord and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and you shall worship Him who made heaven and earth, and the sea and fountains of waters."

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You, because Your righteous judgments have been manifested."
