Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows what things you have need of before you ask Him.

"For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

For all these things the nations of the world seek after, but your Father knows that you need these things.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition, along with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
