and was there until the death of Herod, so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying, "Out of Egypt I called My Son."

Now all this came to pass that the thing spoken by the Lord through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying,

When he arose, he took along the young Child and His mother by night and withdrew into Egypt,

Now after Herod died, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,

After this, Jesus, seeing that all things already had been fulfilled, so that the Scripture might be fulfilled, He said, "I thirst!"

For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, "Not a bone of His shall be broken."

Men, brothers; it was necessary for this Scripture to be fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit spoke before by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus;
