Then the crowd cried out and began to request that just as always he would do this for them.
Now at the feast, the governor was accustomed to release to the crowd one prisoner whom they wished.
Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And again crowds came together to Him, and as He was accustomed, He was teaching them.
And there was one called Barabbas, having been bound with his fellow rebels, who had committed murder in the rebellion.
But Pilate answered them, saying, "Do you desire that I release to you the King of the Jews?"
