But he kept saying all the more profusely, "If it is necessary for me to die with You, by no means will I deny You!" And they all said likewise.
But whoever denies Me before men, I also will deny him before My Father who is in heaven.

And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, "Sit here while I pray."
But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And their voices and those of the chief priests prevailed.
Peter said to Him, "Lord, why can I not follow You now? I will lay down my life for You."
