and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities; Mary called Magdalene, from whom seven demons had gone out,
And the report of Him went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all those were ill, suffering with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.
Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him.
Now having arisen early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons.
And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also were mourning and lamenting Him.
But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things.
And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was placed.
Jesus asked him, saying, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion," because many demons had entered into him.
Now there stood by the cross of Jesus His mother, and His mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.
These were continuing with one mind in prayer and petition, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
