And Jesus answered and said to him, "It has been said, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.' "

Jesus said to him, "Again, it is written, 'You shall not tempt the LORD your God.' "

Now when the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time.

nor let us tempt Christ, just as also some of them tempted Him, and were destroyed by the serpents;
