But even now, the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree not producing good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

He also spoke this parable: "A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it and found none.

Then he said to the vinedresser, 'Look, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and I haven't found any. Cut it down; why does it even waste the ground?'

And if it produces fruit, fine. But if not, in the coming year, you can cut it down.' "

If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out like a branch and dries up; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.

Anyone disregarding the law of Moses dies without compassions on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

For our God is a consuming fire.
