Now while the people waited, and all considered in their hearts about John, whether he might be the Christ,

But they were reasoning among themselves, saying, "We did not take bread."

Then the Jews encircled Him and said to Him, "How long will You hold us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly."
