When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the Man were a Galilean.
Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, "You also were with Jesus of Galilee."
And some people were present at that very time, reporting to Him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
But they insisted, saying, "He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to here."
And when he found out that He belonged to Herod's jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem in those days.
After this arose Judas the Galilean, in the days of the census, and caused considerable number of people after him to revolt. That one also perished, and as many as were persuaded by him were dispersed.
