And in the daytime He was teaching in the temple, but at night He went out and stayed on the mountain called Olivet.

Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to Bethsphage, towards the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

And having left them, He went out of the city to Bethany, and lodged there.

And having sung hymns, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

In that hour Jesus said to the crowds, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to arrest Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me.

Now the next day, after they had come out from Bethany, He was hungry.

And when it became evening, He was going forth outside of the city.

Daily I was with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But that the Scriptures may be fulfilled."

And it came to pass, as He drew near to Bethsphage and Bethany, to the mountain which is called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples,

And as He was approaching the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen,

And He was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests, the scribes, and the leaders of the people were seeking to destroy Him,

And going out, He went to the Mount of Olives, according to His custom, and His disciples also followed Him.

Then Jesus, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had died, whom He raised from the dead.

Now Judas, the one betraying Him, also knew the place, because Jesus often gathered there also with His disciples.

Then they returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.
