Therefore they were seeking to arrest Him; but no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

But the Pharisees went out and plotted against Him, how they might destroy Him.

And seeking to seize Him, they feared the crowds, since they considered Him as a prophet.

And the scribes and chief priests heard it and they sought how they might destroy Him; for they were afraid of Him, because all the people were astonished at His teaching.

And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on Him that very hour, but they were afraid--for they knew that He had spoken this parable against them.

When I was with you daily in the temple, you did not try to seize Me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness."

Therefore the Jews took up stones again to stone Him.

Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, but He escaped from their hand.

Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a command, that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it, so that they might seize Him.

Has not Moses given you the law, yet none of you keeps the law? Why are you seeking to kill Me?"

The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things about Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent attendants so that they might arrest Him.

Then Jesus said to them, "My time has not yet come, but your time is always ready.

You go up to this feast. I am not yet going up to this feast, because My time has not yet been fulfilled."

These words Jesus spoke in the treasury, while teaching in the temple; and no one seized Him, for His time had not yet come.

"I know that you are Abraham's descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word finds no place in you.

Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, having gone through their midst, and so passed by.

I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.
