His brothers therefore said to Him, "Depart from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.
And while He was still speaking to the crowds, behold, His mother and brothers stood outside, seeking to speak with Him.
But when His relatives heard, they came out to seize Him, for they were saying, "He has lost His mind."
Then His brothers and His mother came, and as they stood outside they sent to Him, calling for Him.
Then His mother and brothers came to Him, and could not approach Him because of the crowd.
And it was told Him by some, who said, "Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, desiring to see You."
Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.
Therefore many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, "This is a hard saying; who can hear it?"
From this time many of His disciples turned back and no longer would walk with Him.
But when His brothers had gone up, then also He Himself went up to the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
For no one does anything in secret while he himself seeks to be known publicly. If You do these things, show Yourself to the world."
For not even His brothers believed in Him.
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice and spoke out to them, "Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and give ear to my words.
