He who speaks from himself is seeking his own glory; but He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him.
Therefore pray in this manner: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name.
And when Jesus heard, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it."
Father, glorify Your name." Then a voice came out of heaven, saying, "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again."
for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
I do not receive glory from men.
Jesus answered, "If I glorify Myself, My glory is nothing. It is My Father who glorifies Me, of whom you say that He is our God.
Nor seeking glory from men, neither from you, nor from others, even though we were able to carry weight as apostles of Christ.
If anyone speaks, let him speak as the utterances of God. If anyone serves, let him serve as from strength, as God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness has been born of Him.
