And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness more than the light, because their works were evil.

And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not get ready or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many blows.

But to those who are contentious, and who disobey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath,

so that they all might be damned who did not believe the truth, but delighted in unrighteousness.

and "a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

knowing this first: that mockers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts,
