John 19:14

Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, "Behold your King!"

Now from the sixth hour until the ninth hour, darkness came upon all the land.

On the next day, which is after the Preparation Day, the chief priests and Pharisees were gathered together to Pilate,

Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.

And now evening having come, since it was Preparation Day, which is the day before the Sabbath,

Now it was about the sixth hour, and darkness came upon the whole land until the ninth hour.

That day was the Preparation; the Sabbath was drawing near.

And they kept saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" And they were striking Him with their hands.

So there they laid Jesus, because of the Jews' Preparation Day, because the tomb was near.

Then Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, "Behold, the Man!"
