and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace which was given to me, they gave me and Barnabas their right hands of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised;

And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I shall build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.

And He sent Peter and John, saying, "Go and prepare the Passover for us, so that we may eat it."

And he led him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, "You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas" (which is translated, A Stone).

And motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he related to them how the Lord had led him out of the prison. And he said, "Tell these things to James and to the brothers." And going out, he went to another place.

Now after they had finished speaking, James answered, saying, "Men and brothers, listen to me:

And after much dispute, Peter arose and said to them: "Men, brothers, you know that from early days God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.

And Joses, who was also named Barnabas by the apostles (which is translated Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a Cyprian by nation,

through whom we received grace and apostleship for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name,

For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself too highly, beyond what you should think, but to think soberly, as God has imparted to each one a measure of faith.

And I write more boldly to you brothers, in part, as reminding you, because of the grace having been given to me by God,

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than them all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

For I consider myself in nothing to have been inferior to the most super apostles.

I have become a fool in boasting; you have compelled me! For I ought to have been commended by you; for in nothing have I been inferior to the super apostles, though I am nothing.

with much appeal, begging us for the grace and the fellowship of the ministry to the saints--

to reveal His Son in me, so that I might preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with flesh and blood,

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Peter, and I stayed with him fifteen days.

Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, also taking Titus along.

And I went up by revelation, and I set before them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those with influence, lest somehow I might run, or had run, for nothing.

For if anyone thinks that he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

being built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone,

To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

for which I also labor, striving according to His working which is working in me with power.

but if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how it is necessary to conduct oneself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.

that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, in order that you also may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and by no means shall he go out any longer. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from heaven from My God. And My new name.
