And when the Pharisees saw this, they said to His disciples, "Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?"

saying, 'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.' "

"Then He said to me, 'Go, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles.' "

What then? Are we any better? Not at all. For we previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they are all under sin.

Therefore it is of faith that it may be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those of the law, but also to those of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

But if by seeking to be justified in Christ, we ourselves also were found sinners, then is Christ a minister of sin? Certainly not!

among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the senses, and were by nature children of wrath, as also the rest.

although I also am having confidence in the flesh. If any other person thinks to have confidence in the flesh, I even more:

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, being deceived, being enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
