Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

For false christs and false prophets will be raised up, and they will show great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you.

For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will give signs and wonders in order to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

And Jesus, answering them, began to say: "Take heed lest anyone deceive you.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven upon all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

Let no one rule against you, desiring to do so in false humility and in worship of the angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, in vain being puffed up by his carnal mind,

Now this I say lest anyone may deceive you with persuasive words.

Beware lest anyone captures you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Because of which things the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience,

Let no one deceive you by any means; for that day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is unveiled, the son of perdition,

Do not be carried away with various and strange doctrines. For it is good for the heart to be established by grace, not by foods, by which those having walked were not profited.

And we see that they were not able to enter on account of unbelief.

and "a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense." They stumble, being disobedient to the word, to which they also were appointed.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
