that God has fulfilled this promise for us to their children, when He raised up Jesus, as it is also written in the second Psalm: 'You are My Son, today I have begotten You.'

Therefore, when He was raised up from among the dead, His disciples remembered that He spoke this thing, and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had spoken.

But God raised Him from the dead;

"And that He raised Him from the dead, no longer being about to return to corruption, thus He has said: 'I will give you the sure decrees of God concerning David.'

but He whom God raised up did not see corruption.

Whom God raised, thus doing away with the labor pains of death, because it was not possible for Him to be held by it.

"This Jesus God has raised up, of which we all are witnesses."

And immediately in the synagogues he was proclaiming Christ, that He is the Son of God.

So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You."
