He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that does not believe shall be condemned.

And the Jews, seeing the crowds, they were filled with jealousy and spoke against the things being said by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.

But the Jews incited the devout and prominent women and the leading men of the city, raised up a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and cast them out from their borders.

But there arrived from Antioch and Iconium Jews, and having persuaded the crowds and having stoned Paul, they dragged him outside the city, supposing him to have died.

But the disbelieving Jews aroused and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.

And when an attempt was made by both the Gentiles and the Jews, together with their rulers, to mistreat and to stone them,

But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul in Berea, they came there also, agitating the crowds.

But when some became hardened and disbelieving, speaking evil against the Way before the multitude, he withdrew from them and separated the disciples, each day debating in the school of a certain Tyrannus.

any they have been informed about you, that you are teaching defection from Moses, to all the Jews who are among the Gentiles, saying for them not to circumcise their children nor to walk in our customs.

Now when it was day, some of the Jews joined in a conspiracy and bound themselves by a curse, saying neither would they eat nor drink until they would kill Paul.

But Paul answered (the governor, having nodded for him to speak): "Knowing that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, the more cheerfully I defend the things concerning myself,

And the high priest and the prominent men of the Jews made known to him the case against Paul; and they were appealing to him,

When he arrived, the Jews who had come down from Jerusalem stood around him, bringing many and serious accusations against Paul, which they were not able to prove,

Nor is there salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven which has been given among men by which we must be saved."

Now when many days were fulfilled, the Jews plotted to kill him.

just as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved.

And I, brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been done away with.

Therefore I beseech you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, which is your glory.

To me, the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, who delivers us from the coming wrath.

and in all deception of unrighteousness among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

who desires all men to be saved and to come to the full knowledge of the truth.

but if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, of which the end is for burning.

He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still; and the filthy, let him be filthy still; and the righteous, let him do righteousness still; and the holy, let him be sanctified still."
