1 Corinthians 7:22

For he who is called in the Lord while a slave is the Lord's free man. Likewise he who is called as a free man is Christ's slave.

Were you called as a slave? Do not be concerned about it; but if you can be made free, rather make use of it.

For being free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, in order that I might win the more;

to those outside the law, as one outside the law (not being outside the law toward God, but subject to the law toward Christ), in order that I might win those outside the law;

For do I just now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
