The false prophet had used these miracles to trick the people who had the mark of the animal and worshiped his idol. {\cf2\super [151]} The false prophet and the animal were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

And I saw the people that had died, great and small, standing before the throne. And the book of life was opened. There were also other books opened. These dead people were judged by the things they had done. These things are written in the books.

Then I saw some thrones and people sitting on them. These were the people who had been given the power to judge. Those people did not worship the animal or his idol. {\cf2\super [153]} They did not receive the mark of the animal on their foreheads or on their hands. Those people became alive again and ruled with Christ for 1,000 years.

Revelation 6:15

Then all the people hid in caves and behind the rocks on the mountains. There were the kings of the world, the rulers, the army commanders, the rich people and the powerful people. Every person, slave and free, hid himself.

“Don’t hurt the land or the sea or the trees before we put the sign on the people who serve our God. We must put the sign on their foreheads.”
