I prayed to him.\par I praised him.\par
What can I give to the Lord?\par The Lord gave me everything I have!\par
I praise you my God and King.\par I bless your name forever and ever.\par
Lord, you lifted me up out of my troubles.\par You did not let my enemies \{defeat me\par and\} laugh at me.\par So I will show honor to you.\par
So God, I turned and prayed to you.\par I asked you to show mercy to me.\par
I said, “God, what good is it if I die\par and go down into the grave?\par Dead people just lie in the dirt!\par They don’t praise you.\par They don’t tell people\par how much we can depend on you.\par
This poor man called to the Lord for help.\par And the Lord heard me.\par He saved me from all my troubles.\par
