Lord, get up! {\cf2\super [10]} \par My God, come rescue me!\par \{You are very strong!\}\par If you hit my bad enemies on the cheek,\par you will break all their teeth.\par
But the Lord says:\par “Bad people stole from the poor people.\par They took things from helpless people.\par But now I will stand and defend those weary (tired) people.”\par
But even if an army is all around me,\par I will not be afraid.\par Even if people attack me in war,\par \{I will not be afraid\}.\par Why? Because I trust the Lord.\par
You are the Lord God All-Powerful,\par the God of Israel!\par Get up and punish those people.\par Don’t show any mercy to those evil traitors.\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [348]})\i0 \par
Lord, get up {\cf2\super [37]} and show your anger!\par My enemy is angry,\par so stand and fight against him.\par Lord, get up and demand fairness!\par
Arm (power) of the Lord, wake up!\par Wake up! Be strong!\par Use your strength\par like you did a long time ago,\par like you have from ancient times.\par You are the power that defeated Rahab.\par You defeated the Dragon. {\cf2\super [418]} \par
It will be very bad for the person that says to a wooden statue, “Get up!” It will be very bad for the person that says to a stone that can’t speak, “Wake up!” Those things can’t help him. That statue may be covered with gold and silver, but there is no life in that statue.
