We will all die some day. We will be like water that is spilled on the ground. No person can gather this water back from the ground. You know God forgives people. God made plans for people who are forced to run away for safety—God doesn’t force them to run away from him!
We are only strangers traveling through\par this world like our ancestors. {\cf2\super [323]} \par Our time on earth is like a passing shadow.\par And we can’t stop it.\par
So surely people are worse!\par People live in houses of clay. {\cf2\super [11]} \par The foundations of these houses of clay\par are in the dirt.\par They are crushed to death\par more easily than a moth!\par
Lord, you punish people for doing wrong\par to teach them the right way to live.\par Like a moth destroys cloth,\par you destroy the things people love.\par Yes, our lives are like a small cloud \{that quickly disappears\}.\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [240]})\i0 \par
Evil people don’t respect God, so those people won’t really get good things. Those evil people won’t live long lives. Their lives won’t be like the shadows that become longer and longer \{as the sun goes down\}.
