Then I will have an answer\par for people who insult me.\par I really trust the things you say, Lord.\par

Bad people insult me.\par They look at me and shake their heads.\par

Lord, remember your promise to me.\par That promise gives me hope.\par

Lord, your followers see me\par and respect me.\par They are happy because I trust\par what you say.\par

I am about to die\par waiting for you to save me.\par But I trust the things you say, Lord.\par

Many people are talking about me.\par \{Those people say,\}\par “God, won’t rescue him!”\par \i (SELAH {\cf2\super [7]})\i0 \par

My enemy constantly insults me\par and strikes a deadly blow\par when he asks me,\par “Where is your God?\par \{Has he come to save you yet?\}”\par

I trust God, so I am not afraid\par of what people can do to me!\par I praise God for his promise to me.\par

My son, be wise. This will make me happy. Then I will be able to answer any person that criticizes me.

They said, “Sir, we remember that while that liar was still alive he said, ‘After three days I will rise from death.’

So men, be happy! I trust in God. Everything will happen like his angel told me.
