\{Bad people are like a hunter\}\par They hide in the dark.\par They pull back on the bowstring.\par They aim their arrows\par and shoot straight into the hearts\par of good, honest people.\par

Proud and wicked people make evil plans.\par And they hurt poor people.\par

Lord, be good to good people.\par Be good to people who have pure hearts.\par

My enemies have set a trap for me.\par I am ready to give up.\par But the Lord knows what is happening to me.\par

Lord, you made those people your slaves.\par You tied them together with ropes.\par You put ropes around their necks.\par You made them bow down like slaves.\par

Good people, rejoice\par and be very happy in the Lord.\par All you people with pure hearts, rejoice!\par

Bad people get their swords\par and aim their bows.\par They want to kill poor, helpless people.\par They want to kill good, honest people.\par

A good person is happy \{to serve\} the Lord.\par He depends on God.\par And when good honest people\par \{see what happens\},\par they praise the Lord!\par

God helps people with honest hearts.\par So God will protect me.\par

If God makes a decision,\par he does not change his mind.\par

Justice will return,\par and it will bring fairness.\par And then there will be good, honest people.\par

Light and happiness shine on good people.\par

“Those people use their tongues like a bow;\par lies fly from their mouths like arrows.\par Lies, not truth, have grown strong in this land.\par Those people go from one sin to another.\par They don’t know me.”\par The Lord said these things.\par

In the meeting, they tried to find a way to arrest Jesus without the people seeing it. They planned to arrest Jesus and kill him.
