When a fool tries to say something wise, it is the same as a drunk person trying to pick a thorn out of his hand.


It is not wise for a fool to speak too much. In the same way, it is not wise for a ruler to tell lies.


Evil people plan to do bad things\par to other people.\par But God can \{ruin their plans,\}\par and make those bad things\par happen to them.\par Then everyone that sees them\par will shake their heads in amazement.\par


Jesus said to them, “I know that you will tell me the old saying: ‘Doctor, heal yourself.’ You want to say, ‘We heard about some things that you did in Capernaum. Do those same things here in your own home town!’”


Never let a fool carry your message. If you do, it will be like cutting off your own feet. You are asking for trouble.
