Some people make fun of poor people. They laugh at people who have problems. This shows that those bad people don’t respect God who made them. These bad people will be punished.

If you do, the Lord will see this, and the Lord will not be happy with you. Then the Lord might help your enemy.

I have fallen.\par But enemy, don’t laugh at me!\par I will get up again.\par I sit in darkness now.\par But the Lord will be a light for me.\par

The people were having a good time at the celebration. So they said, “Bring Samson out. We want to make fun of him.” So they brought Samson from the prison and made fun of him. They made Samson stand between the columns in the temple of the god Dagon.
