Good people leave good memories. But evil people will soon be forgotten.

That person will never fall.\par A good person will be remembered forever.\par


I am not important.\par But God has shown his care for me,\par his servant girl.\par From now on, all people will say\par that I am blessed,\par


I tell you the truth. The Good News {\cf2\super [195]} will be told to people in all the world. And in every place where the Good News is told, the story of what this woman did will also be told. The thing she has done will be told and people will remember her.”


Destroy my enemy completely.\par Let the next generation remove his name\par from everything.\par


The people buried Jehoiada in David’s City where the kings are buried. The people buried Jehoiada there because in his life he did much good in Israel for God and for God’s temple. {\cf2\super [277]}


I hope the Lord remembers\par those sins forever.\par And I hope he forces people to forget\par my enemy completely.\par


People on earth won’t remember him.\par No person remembers him anymore.\par


I will protect this city and save it. I will do this for myself and for my servant David.”


I will allow Solomon’s son to continue to rule over one family group. I will do this so that my servant David will always have a descendant to rule before me in Jerusalem, the city that I chose to be my own.


I also saw great and beautiful funerals for evil people. While the people were going home after the funeral services, they said good things about the evil people that had died. This happened even in the same towns where the evil people had done many, many bad things. That is senseless.


Men will clap their hands\par as the evil person runs away.\par They will whistle at that evil person\par


Lord, you are the hope of Israel.\par Lord, you are like a spring of living water.\par If a person quits following the Lord,\par then his life will be very short. {\cf2\super [139]} \par


Hezekiah died and was buried with his ancestors. {\cf2\super [398]} The people buried Hezekiah on the hill where the graves of David’s ancestors are. All the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem gave honor to Hezekiah when he died. Manasseh became the new king in Hezekiah’s place. Manasseh was Hezekiah’s son.


That evil person will die\par and even his own mother\par will forget him.\par His sweetheart will be the worms\par eating his body.\par People will not remember him.\par That evil person will be broken\par like a rotten stick!\par


But the Lord is against people\par that do bad things.\par He destroys them completely!\par


It is better to be respected than to be rich. A good name is more important than silver or gold.


The Lord All-Powerful said, “I will stand and fight against those people. I will destroy the famous city, Babylon. I will destroy all the people of Babylon. I will destroy their children, their grandchildren, and their great-grandchildren.” The Lord himself said those things.


Pray to the Lord and he will hear you.\par He will save you from all your troubles.\par


My enemies say bad things about me.\par They are saying,\par “When will he die and be forgotten?”\par
