Then those workers that were hired first came to get their pay. Those workers thought they would be paid more than the other workers. But each one of those workers also received one silver coin.

The workers said, ‘Those people were hired last and worked only one hour. But you paid them the same as us. And we worked hard all day in the hot sun.’

Some Jews began to complain about Jesus. They complained because Jesus said, “I am the bread that comes down from heaven.”

Jesus knew that his followers were complaining about this. So Jesus said, “Is this teaching a problem for you?

The Jews saw all these people there. So the Jews became very jealous. They said some very bad things and argued against the words that Paul said.

Yes. They try to stop us from teaching the non-Jews. We teach the non-Jews so that the non-Jews can be saved. But those Jews are adding more and more sins to the sins they already have. The anger of God has fully come to them now.
