You are for evil people if you refuse to obey the law. But if you obey the law, then you are against them.

(The wrong commands are those commands that come from the wizards and fortune tellers. Those commands are worth nothing; you will gain nothing by following those commands.)

So Jeremiah gave the message from the Lord to Zedekiah in Jerusalem.

“You must not have sexual relations with [322] your brother’s wife. That would be like having sexual relations with your brother. [323]

It is wrong for a man to take his brother’s wife. It would be like having sexual relations with [364] his brother! They will have no children.

John told Herod that it was not right for him to be married to his brother’s wife.
