Luke 19:37

Easy To Read Version

Jesus was coming close to Jerusalem. He was already near the bottom of the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [303]} The whole group of followers were happy. They were very excited and praised God. They thanked God for all the powerful things they had seen.

So all the people of Israel brought up the Box of the Agreement. {\cf2\super [176]} They shouted, they blew rams’ horns and trumpets, and they played cymbals, {\cf2\super [177]} lyres, {\cf2\super [178]} and harps. {\cf2\super [179]}

Hezekiah and the people were very happy about the things God prepared for his people. And they were happy he did it so quickly!

Jesus and his followers were coming closer to Jerusalem. But first they stopped at Bethphage at the hill called the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [279]} There Jesus sent two of his followers into the town.

Later, Jesus was sitting at a place on the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [181]} He was alone with Peter, James, John, and Andrew. They could all see the temple. Those followers asked Jesus,

All the followers sang a song. Then they went out to the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [204]}

Then the man was able to see. The man followed Jesus, thanking God. All the people that saw this praised God for what happened.

Then another servant came in. The servant said to the king, ‘Sir, here is your bag of money. I wrapped it in a piece of cloth and hid it.

Jesus came near Bethphage and Bethany, towns near the hill called the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [302]} Jesus sent out two of his followers.

Jesus rode along the road toward Jerusalem. The followers spread their coats on the road before Jesus.

All the people were filled with fear. They began praising God and said, “A great prophet {\cf2\super [129]} has come to us!” And they said, “God is taking care of his people.”

Many people went out to meet Jesus, because they heard that Jesus did this miracle. {\cf2\super [197]}
