That bread will belong to Aaron and his sons. They will eat the bread in a holy place. Why? Because that bread is one of the offerings made by fire to the Lord. That bread is Aaron’s share forever.”

Aaron and his sons will have the job of caring for the lamp. They will go into {the first room of} the Meeting Tent. [234] This is outside {the room with} the Agreement [235] that is behind the curtain {that separates the two rooms}. In this place they will make sure the lamp continues burning before the Lord from evening till morning. The people of Israel and their descendants [236] must obey this law forever.”

Moses said, “Some of the grain offering is left from the sacrifices that were burned on the fire. You will eat that part of the grain offering. But you must eat it without adding yeast. {That person is from the family of priests,} so he can eat the holy bread. He can also eat the very holy bread.

This rule will continue forever through all your generations. Wherever you live, you must never eat fat or blood.”

Then bring the people together at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. [84] ”
