Manasseh prayed to God and begged God to help him. The Lord heard Manasseh’s begging and felt sorry for him. The Lord let him return to Jerusalem and to his throne. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was the true God.

Also all of Manasseh’s sins and wrongs before he humbled himself, and the places where he built high places {\cf2\super [416]} and set up the Asherah Poles {\cf2\super [417]} are written in The Book of the Seers.

Those bad people hurt poor people,\par and made them cry to God for help.\par And God hears that cry for help.\par

This poor man called to the Lord for help.\par And the Lord heard me.\par He saved me from all my troubles.\par

My God and King,\par listen to my prayer.\par

God, hear my prayer.\par Please don’t ignore my prayer for mercy.\par

I have fought in many battles.\par But God has always rescued me\par and brought me back safely.\par

God, please listen to me and answer me.\par Let me speak to you\par and tell you what upsets me.\par

God listened to me.\par God heard my prayer.\par

“Go to Hezekiah and tell him that the Lord, the God of your ancestor {\cf2\super [360]} David says, ‘I heard your prayer, and I saw your tears. I will add 15 years to your life.

“Now, Lord, listen to my prayer. I am your servant. Listen to my prayer for help. Do good things for your holy place. {\cf2\super [103]} That building was destroyed. But Master, do these good things for your own good.

Also, the Spirit {\cf2\super [68]} helps us. We are very weak, but the Spirit helps us with our weakness. We don’t know how to pray like we should. But the Spirit himself speaks to God for us. The Spirit begs God for us. The Spirit speaks to God with deep feelings that words cannot explain.
