Judges 19:5

On the fourth day, they got up early in the morning. The Levite [143] man was getting ready to leave. But the young woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Eat something first. After you eat, then you can go.”

I will get some food for you, and you can eat as much as you want. Then you can continue your journey.”

Then the king said to the man of God, “Please come home with me. Come and eat with me. I will give you a gift.”

God gives us\par the wine that makes us happy,\par the oil that makes our skin soft, {\cf2\super [544]} \par and the food that makes us strong.\par

Jesus said, “My food is to do what the One (God) who sent me wants me to do. My food is to finish the work that he gave me to do.

Then he ate some food and began to feel strong again.

The woman’s father led the Levite man into his house. The Levite’s father-in-law invited him to stay. So the Levite man stayed for three days. He ate, drank, and slept in his father-in-law’s house.

Then, on the fifth day, the Levite [144] man got up early in the morning. He was ready to leave. But the woman’s father said to his son-in-law, “Eat something first. Relax and stay until this afternoon.” So they both ate together again.

They gave the Egyptian a piece of fig cake and two clusters of raisins. He felt better after eating. He had not had any food or water for three days and nights.
