God sent his Son into the world. God did not send his Son to judge the world guilty. God sent his Son so that the world could be saved through his Son.
City of Zion, rejoice!\par People of Jerusalem, shout with joy!\par Look, your king is coming to you!\par He is the good king that won the victory.\par But he is humble.\par He is riding on a donkey,\par on a young donkey\par born from a work animal.\par
“The virgin {\cf2\super [15]} will be pregnant and will give birth to a son. They will name him Immanuel.” {\cf2\super [16]} (Immanuel means, “God with us.”)
“Be careful. Don’t think these little children are worth nothing. I tell you that these children have angels in heaven. And those angels are always with my Father in heaven.
Father, I pray that all people that believe in me can be one. You are in me and I am in you. I pray that these people can also be one in us, so that the world will believe that you sent me.
I will be in them, and you will be in me. So they will be completely one. Then the world will know that you sent me. And the world will know that you loved these people the same as you loved me.
I gave these men the teachings that you gave me. They accepted those teachings. They know that I truly came from you. And they believed that you sent me.
“But I have a proof about myself that is greater than John. The things I do are my proof. These are the things my Father gave me to do. These things show that the Father sent me.
Don’t think that I will stand before the Father and say that you are wrong. Moses is the person that says that you are wrong. And Moses is the one that you hoped would save you.
Jesus said to those Jews, “If God were really your Father, then you would love me. I came from God, and now I am here. I did not come by my own authority. God sent me.
