Thomas said, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going. So how can we know the way?”
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew, the tax collector; {\cf2\super [120]} James, son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
Jesus answered, “You people don’t believe! How long must I stay with you? How long must I continue to be patient with you? Bring the boy to me!”
Then Jesus said to the two men, “You are foolish and slow to realize what is true. You should believe everything the prophets {\cf2\super [391]} said.
Then Thomas (the one called Didymus) said to the other followers, “We will go too. We will die with Jesus \{in Judea\}.”
You know the way to the place where I am going.”
This is what I command you: Love each other like I have loved you.
Now I am going back to the One who sent me. But none of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
