“So now, teach me,\par and I will be quiet.\par Show me what I have done wrong.\par
I will say to God:\par ‘Don’t blame me!\par Tell me,\par What have I done wrong?\par What do you have against me?\par
How many sins have I done?\par What have I done wrong?\par Show me my sins and my wrongs.\par
I waited patiently while you men talked.\par I listened to the answers\par that you gave to Job.\par
“Now, Job, listen to me.\par Listen carefully to the things I say.\par
God, even if I can’t see \{you\},\par please teach me\par \{the right way to live\}.\par If I have done wrong,\par I won’t do it again.’\par
“Job, we have studied these things,\par and we know they are true.\par So Job, listen to us,\par and learn them for yourself.”\par
Did I say to you,\par ‘Save me from the enemy!\par Save me from cruel people!’\par
Honest words are powerful.\par But your arguments prove nothing.\par
\{Lord,\} no person can see all of his own mistakes.\par So don’t let me do secret sins.\par
\{The Lord says,\}\par “I will teach you and guide you\par on the way you should live.\par I will protect you and be your guide.\par
If a wise person gives you a warning, it is worth more than gold rings or jewelry made from the finest gold.
If you teach a wise man, then he will become wiser. If you teach a good man, then he will learn more.
My dear brothers and sisters, always be more willing to listen than to speak. Don’t become angry easily.
We all make many mistakes. If there were a person who never said anything wrong, then that person would be perfect. A person like that would be able to control their whole body, too.
