So God made the air and separated the water. Some of the water was above the air, and some of the water was below the air.

Then God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered together so the dry land will appear.” And it happened.

God gave the wind its power.\par God decided how big to make the oceans.\par

I set the limits for the sea\par and put it behind locked gates.\par

At that time I covered it with clouds,\par and wrapped it in darkness.\par

You covered it with water like a blanket.\par The water covered the mountains.\par

Those people saw what the Lord can do.\par They saw the amazing things he did at sea.\par

God gathered the water from the sea\par into one place.\par He keeps the ocean in its place.\par

No person has ever learned about the things from heaven. No person has ever caught the wind in his hand. No person has ever held water in a piece of cloth. No person can ever really know the limits of the earth. If any person can do these things, who is he? Where is his family?

I was there when the Lord set the limits\par for water in the seas.\par The water can’t rise higher\par than the Lord allows.\par I was there when the Lord made\par the foundations of the earth.\par

Who measured the oceans\par in the palm of his hand?\par Who used his hand to measure the sky?\par Who used a bowl to measure all the dust\par of the earth?\par Who used measuring scales to measure\par the mountains and hills?\par \{It was the Lord!\}\par

Surely you are afraid of me.’”\par This message is from the Lord.\par “You should shake with fear in front of me.\par I am the One who made the beaches\par to be a boundary for the sea.\par I made it that way to keep the water\par in its place forever.\par The waves may pound the beach,\par but they will not destroy it.\par The waves may roar as they come in,\par but they can’t go beyond the beach.\par
