But there are many people here. And it is the rainy time of year, so we can’t stay outside. This problem can’t be solved in a day or two because we have sinned in a very bad way.

So, in three days all the men from the families of Judah and Benjamin gathered in Jerusalem. And on the twentieth day of the ninth month, {\cf2\super [58]} all the people met together in the temple yard. They were very upset because of the reason for the meeting and because of the heavy rain.

God decided where to send the rain,\par and where the thunderstorms should go.\par

“God takes up water from the earth\par and changes it into mist and rain.\par

“Job, have you ever gone into\par the storerooms where I keep\par the snow and the hail?\par

God sends rain on the earth.\par He sends water to the fields.\par

God made the fire and hail,\par the snow and smoke,\par and all the stormy winds.\par

If a ruler makes trouble for poor people, he is like a hard rain that destroys the crops.

Tell those men that I will send hail and a strong rain (enemy army). The wind will blow hard and a tornado will come. Then the wall will fall down.

The Lord my Master says, “I am angry and I will send a storm against you. I am angry and I will send a strong rain. I am angry and I will make hail fall from the sky and completely destroy you!

The Lord built his upper rooms\par above the skies.\par He put his skies {\cf2\super [113]} over the earth.\par He calls for the waters of the sea,\par and pours them out \{as rain\} on the land.\par YAHWEH {\cf2\super [114]} is his name.\par
