You will work hard for your food,
until your face is covered with sweat.
You will work hard until the day you die.
And then you will become dust again.
I used dust to make you.
And when you die
you will become dust again.”
We will all die some day. We will be like water that is spilled on the ground. No person can gather this water back from the ground. You know God forgives people. God made plans for people who are forced to run away for safety—God doesn’t force them to run away from him!
And when you turn away from them,\par they become frightened.\par Their spirits leave them;\par they grow weak and die;\par and their bodies become dust again.\par
Your body came from the earth.\par And when you die,\par your body will go back to the earth.\par But your spirit came from God.\par And when you die,\par your spirit will go back to God.\par
I am not angry.\par But if there is war and someone builds\par a wall of thorn bushes, {\cf2\super [249]} \par then I will march to it and burn it.\par
I will not continue fighting forever.\par I will not always be angry.\par If I continued to be angry,\par then man’s spirit\par —the life I gave them—\par would die in front of me.\par
