Then you could look to God without shame.\par You could stand strong and not be afraid.\par

Then your life would be brighter\par than the sunshine at noon.\par Life’s darkest hours would shine\par like the morning sun.\par

And let God All-Powerful be your gold.\par Let him be your pile of silver.\par

That person should have enjoyed\par \{talking with\} God All-Powerful.\par That person should have prayed to God\par all the time.\par

That person will pray to God,\par and God will answer his prayer.\par That person will shout with joy\par and worship God.\par He will live a good life again.\par

Why do I say that?\par Because Job says,\par ‘A person will gain nothing\par if he tries to please God.’\par

then I will never be ashamed\par when I study your commands.\par

Lord, show me your true love this morning.\par I trust you.\par Show me the things I should do.\par I put my life in your hands!\par

Lord, I give myself to you. {\cf2\super [150]} \par

Enjoy serving the Lord,\par and he will give you what you want.\par

Master, I put my life in your hands.\par Make me happy, I am your servant.\par

Then you can ask the Lord\par to be kind to you.\par And he will carry you to the High Places\par above the earth.\par And he will give you all the things\par that belonged to Jacob your father.\par

In my mind, I am happy with God’s law.

And God gives us the things we ask for. We receive these things because we obey God’s commands and we do the things that please God.
