Why do evil people live long lives?\par Why do they grow old and successful?\par

Job, you have a lot of farm land.\par And people respect you.\par

Evil people use their power\par to ruin powerful men.\par Evil people might become powerful\par but they can’t be sure of their own lives.\par

People can suddenly die,\par in the middle of the night.\par People become sick and pass away.\par Even powerful people die\par for no apparent reason.\par

If even powerful people do bad things\par God does not need to ask questions.\par God will simply destroy those people,\par and choose other people to be leaders.\par

Those bad people hurt poor people,\par and made them cry to God for help.\par And God hears that cry for help.\par

“If \{bad\} people are being hurt,\par then they will cry out for help.\par They go to powerful people\par and beg them to help them.\par

He makes rulers not important.\par He makes the judges of this world\par completely worthless.\par

They brought the five kings to Joshua. Joshua called all his men to come to that place. Joshua said to the officers of his army, “Come here! Put your feet on the necks of these kings.” So the officers of Joshua’s army came close. They put their feet on the necks of the kings.

Joshua captured all those cities and their kings on one trip. Joshua did this because the Lord God of Israel was fighting for Israel.

They will make war against the Lamb. But the Lamb will defeat them, because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. He will defeat them with his chosen and faithful followers—the people that he has called.”
