When you judge a brother \{in Christ\}, you are really judging the law \{he follows\}. And when you are judging the law, you are not a follower of the law. You have become a judge!

James 5:12

My brothers and sisters, it is very important that you not use an oath when you make a promise. Don’t use the name of heaven, earth, or anything else to prove what you say. When you mean yes, say only “yes.” When you mean no, say only “no.” Do this so that you will not be judged guilty.

James 5:19

My brothers and sisters, one of you may wander away from the truth. And another person may help him come back to the truth.

1 John 2:21

Why do I write to you? Do I write because you don’t know the truth? No! I write this letter because you do know the truth. And you know that no lie comes from the truth.
