I tell you that Christ became a servant of the Jews to show that what God promises is true. Christ did this to prove that God will do the things he promised the Jewish fathers.
Does this mean that the law {\cf2\super [41]} is against God’s promises? No! If there was a law that could give life to people, then we could be made right by following law.
I hope I will never boast about things like that. The cross (death) of our Lord Jesus Christ is my only reason for boasting. Through Jesus’ death on the cross the world is dead {\cf2\super [80]} to me; and I am dead to the world.
Our high priest serves in the Most Holy Place. {\cf2\super [78]} He serves in the true place of worship {\cf2\super [79]} that was made by God, not by people.
