I will pour my Spirit onto the family of Israel. And after that time, I will never turn away from my people again.” The Lord my Master said those things.

Then I will stop being angry and jealous. I will calm down. I won’t be angry any more.

I will put my Spirit {\cf2\super [293]} in you and you will come to life again. Then I will lead you back to your own land. Then you will know that I am the Lord. You will know that I said these things and that I made them happen.’” The Lord said those things.

They will know that I am the Lord their God. Why? Because I made them to leave their homes and go as prisoners to other countries. And then I gathered them together and brought them back to their own land.

You will know that I am with Israel.\par You will know that I am the Lord your God.\par There is no other God.\par My people will never be ashamed again.”\par

He will come back and comfort us again.\par He will crush our guilt\par and throw all of our sins\par into the deep sea.\par

Jesus was lifted up to heaven. Now Jesus is with God, at God’s right side. The Father (God) has now given the Holy Spirit {\cf2\super [37]} to Jesus. The Holy Spirit is what God promised to give. So now Jesus is pouring out (giving) that Spirit. This is what you see and hear.

The person who obeys God’s commands lives in God. And God lives in that person. How do we know that God lives in us? We know because of the Spirit {\cf2\super [13]} that God gave us.
