There were many, many bones lying on the ground in the valley. The Lord made me walk all around among the bones. I saw the bones were very dry.

Ezekiel 37:11

Then the Lord my Master said to me, “Son of man, {\cf2\super [291]} these bones are like the whole family of Israel. The people of Israel say, ‘Our bones have dried up, {\cf2\super [292]} our hope is gone. We have been completely destroyed!’

These mountains are on the other side of the Jordan River in the land of the Canaanite people living in the Jordan Valley. These mountains are toward the west, not far from the oak trees of Moreh near the town of Gilgal.
