That inside garden had white and blue linen {\cf2\super [3]} hangings around the room. Those hangings were held in place with cords of white linen and purple material on silver rings and marble pillars. There were couches made of gold and silver. Those couches were setting on mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl, and other expensive stones.

You go up to those places\par and offer sacrifices. {\cf2\super [442]} \par

“But you people left the Lord, so you will be punished. You people forgot about my holy mountain. {\cf2\super [472]} You began to worship Luck. You depend on the false god Fate. {\cf2\super [473]}

We did that in the past. And our ancestors, our kings, and our officials did that in the past. All of us did those things in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. At the time we worshiped the Queen of Heaven, we had plenty of food. We were successful. Nothing bad happened to us.

“They will enter my holy place. They will come near my table to serve me. They will take care of the things I gave them.

They take clothes from poor people, and then they sit on those clothes while they worship at their altars. {\cf2\super [38]} They loaned money to poor people, and then took their clothes as collateral. {\cf2\super [39]} They make people pay fines, and then they use that money to buy wine for themselves to drink in the temple of their God.

\{But now, you enjoy all the comforts.\}\par You lie on ivory beds,\par and stretch out on your couches.\par You eat tender young lambs from the flock,\par and young calves from the stable.\par

\{The Lord said,\} “You bring unclean {\cf2\super [5]} bread to my altar!”

But Saul refused. He said, “I won’t eat.”
